Starter- *It was late when the tax collectors came to my house and vividly explained all of the money my father owed and was in debt for. I heaved a heavy sigh as they told me to go and grab my items and leave. I did so in a panic, running up the stairs and charging into my room, grabbing a large black duffel bag and throwing most of my belongings into it. I tossed in my tooth brush, all of my clothing, my life savings, and a photo of me, my mother and my father when I was a young kid. I zipped it shut and grabbed my back pack, slipping my arms through the straps and tossing the duffel bag over my shoulder. I rushed down the steps and walked out of my house. It was late so I clearly needed a place to go, however I did not have enough money to buy a hotel room and I had just moved here not too long ago with my father so I knew nobody as well. I sat on a bus stop bench, sulking and looking down into my lap and that's when I saw an odd man with glass, a brown hat and a brown trench coat clinging onto a branch in fear of the barking dog bellow him. He shouted for help and I stood with the heavy weight of my bags on my back. I walked over to the scene and made a shooing gesture to the dog and he obediently ran off. The man released the branch and walked over to me with an embarrassed out-stretched grin on his face. He thanked me and asked me what I was doing with all of these bags outside at night. Exasperatedly, I gave him a quick description on what had happened and he nodded sounding almost sympathetic when he spoke.* "Ah I see, you must hate your father. I had actually just left my home as well." *The man gave me a warm smile and reassuring palm on my head.* "I know, to show my gratitude for saving me you can have my old home, I am sure Tomoe wouldn't mind the company." *And before I got a chance to decline his offer simply because it was too much to ask for he leaned in and placed a soft kiss on my forehead. I thought I seen a faint yellow glow but when I looked up it was gone. He backed away handing my a terribly drawn map and turning on his heel, leaving me to take in everything that had just happened. I looked down at the terribly drawn map in my hands assuming it was a prank but following the trail on the drawing simply because I had no other options and finally found my self standing at the gate of a shrine. It looked abandoned however everything looked so nice and clean. I took in a deep breath to calm my thudding heart and approached, walking up the steps and opening the door. As soon as I did so, two small bald children with odd faced masks appeared behind me saying something about a new Earth Deity before I opened my mouth and screamed, stumbling back and falling into the shrine sprawling out on my back. Just then, things got worse. A young man who appeared older than me came charging at me asking where I had been all this time and then threatening to kill me. But that wasn't the odd part, this man had silver hair with purple eyes and a silver fox tail and ears. He bared sharp fangs and long nails but stopped when he got close enough to see that I was not the person he was expecting.*
